Bike Tours for the Wounded C.I.C (BT4TW) is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that provides direct and indirect support to both Serving Members and Veterans of the UK’s armed forces.
Who do we help?
Bike Tours for the Wounded supports all services and all ranks of those who have served our country. Whether they are Wounded, Injured or Sick (WIS) where their injury, physical or mental condition is / was considered to be career or life limiting, including veterans.
PTSD can have a tremendous impact on the lives of those who are affected by the condition. We support and continue to support many serviceman and servicewomen with PTSD.
To date, we have taken more than 300 servicemen, servicewomen and veterans on our motorcycle challenges. Sadly, 3 of these individuals are no longer with us.

Bike Tour For The Wounded – How do we help?
Each year Bike Tours For The Wounded strives to provide the opportunity for 50 servicemen, servicewomen and veterans to be taken on a motorcycle challenge along Route 66 or the amazing challenge though the Wild West as a pillion. We also run the D-Day Normandy challenge which is a bit closer to home. This is achieved through the numerous fundraising activities we organise and the generous donations from the general public and supporters. These tours can be both mentally and physically challenging, yet have been proven to be extremely beneficial to those who have taken part whilst at varying stages of their rehabilitation process.
How is this possible?
We require experienced riders who are willing to carry a pillion serviceman, servicewomen or veterans who have been Wounded, Injured or has a medical condition. Whilst they embark on their motorcycle tour.
If riding Route 66 or riding though the Wild West on a Harley Davidson is on your bucket list, why not make the trip extra special by sharing the experience with one of our Wounded, Injured or Sick guys or girls.
