Road Runner Challenge 2020

Saturday 4th April to Sunday 12th April 2020

What is the Road Runner Challenge?

The idea originated from our popular and highly successful fundraising challenges, John O’Groats to Land’s End (JOGLE) and the NC500. Both above tours require the rider to travel to the start point in Scotland and back home post event this itself was a challenge, but not much fun traveling on your own?

The Road Runner Challenge was created in 2018 to cater for all needs above and has run every year since. This is a challenge and the idea are to complete the whole tour, however there is an option to join us on any stage or for a few days ride why not join us on the Northern part of the challenge in Scotland?

John o Groats to Lands’ End is one for the bucket list and for those not familiar with the NC500, this is a 500-mile circular tour of Scotland on some of the best biking roads the UK has to offer.

The challenge will follow a route utilising 99% A and B roads and you will be riding the JOGLE, the NC500 and most of our National Parks. 2020 is our fourth year running the RRC and with some hardened soles coming back each year they must be a gluten for punishment or they enjoy it so much! This really is the ultimate tour of the UK and what better way to do it and raise some funds for Bike Tours for the Wounded and support our Veterans.

Overview of the Road Runner Challenge 2020.

New for 2020 we will be riding ‘’LEJOG’’ yes, we are going South to North!

The event will start in Cornwall at Hayle on Saturday 4th April 2020 for a meet and greet heading out the next morning to Lands’ End. From there it is 7 days riding finishing at the East Midlands Hilton Hotel for not only your end of tour function, but our annual pre tour function where you will meet some of the beneficiaries you have supported through your fundraising on this challenge.

Please look at the tour itinerary to whet your appetite and as for riding in April, well we have been blessed with good weather each year let us keep our fingers crossed.
